It is caustic and can burn your skin and eyes -wear goggles and gloves -do not use any alumunum pots/untensils -always add lye to water never water to lye -lye can create some fumes, have open ventilation and wear a mask when mixing I used condensed goats milk, next time I would use half condensed milk and half water.
