4/27/2019 I know that people sometimes get overwhelmed – but how bad must it be to turn a dog into an animal shelter along with her month old babies? How do you walk away with four sets of eyes staring at you. Eyes that trusted you. But that is exactly what happened to a sweet little beagle mix earlier this year. As near as we can tell, her babies were born around New Year’s and by Valentine’s day, she and her tiny family of 3 pups were thrown away. Babies do not need to be raised in a shelter.
