Shortly after, the PGA Tour officially announced that Spieth had withdrawn from the tournament before completing his 13th hole. It marks another frustrating chapter for the three-time major winner, who hasn’t secured a PGA Tour victory since 2022 despite being one of the most accomplished players of the past decade.

The PGA Tour's Travelers Championship begins on Thursday at TPC at River Highlands, where many of the world's best players compete in Cromwell, Connecticut.
