Old habits die hard, and new Raiders coach Pete Carroll got a firsthand reminder Thursday night. With Las Vegas playing the Seahawks in the team’s preseason opener, the former Seattle head man admitted that, on a few occasions, he forgot he was now coaching a different team.

Pete Carroll’s Seattle return ended without a winner when Jalan Gaines blocked Daniel Carlson’s 55-yard field-goal try for Las Vegas as time expired, leaving the Raiders and Seahawks tied at 23 on Thursday night.
