Monday morning’s training camp practice at One Jets Drive marked the first time the Jets were in full pads in 2025, and it was clear that head coach Aaron Glenn wants to establish a level of physicality right away.
Other than Justin Fields' injury scare, the four practices have been mostly quiet, spirited and productive – just the way Aaron Glenn wanted them to be.
Week 2 of training camp is underway across the NFL. For some teams, this is when the action truly begins to distinguish itself from the prior offseason workouts as they now transition to padded practices.

Cowart, who signed with the Jets in free agency, joins a room that is led by Quinnen Williams, but where Cowart will be competing with the likes of veterans Derrick Nnadi, Jay Tufele and Phidarian Mathis, second-year man Leonard Taylor III, and rookies Tyler Baron and Fatorma Mulbah (an undrafted free agent).
