The Cleveland Browns released their first unofficial depth chart on Aug. 4, just days before their preseason opener on Friday night against the Carolina Panthers. At quarterback, Joe Flacco was listed as the starter, followed by Kenny Pickett at No. 2, Dillon Gabriel at No. 3 and Shedeur Sanders at No. 4.

The Cleveland Browns will roll into Philadelphia this Saturday for their second preseason game, and despite what the recent unofficial depth chart says, all signs point to rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders getting another shot to prove the front office wrong about his fourth-string ranking.

Despite an impressive preseason showing, former Colorado Buffaloes star Shedeur Sanders remains buried deep on the Cleveland Browns’ depth chart. With just weeks left before the regular season, he still faces a tough climb to earn meaningful snaps.
