Brooklyn Park police investigate break-in at murdered Minnesota lawmaker Melissa Hortman's home, where intruder entered through a broken window but apparently took nothing.

The break-in came three days after Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, were shot and killed, allegedly by Vance Luther Boelter.

Melissa Hortman, a Minnesota lawmaker who was gunned down in what is described as a politically motivated attack, earned degrees at Boston University and Harvard.
