Severe thunderstorms could hit north and east of Denver

A thunderstorm weather warning has been issued for the south-east of England. The yellow weather warning, covering Kent, Sussex and Surrey, begins at 11:00 BST on Monday and will run until 21:00. The Met Office issued the warning, saying a few places "could see 30 to 50mm of rain within a couple of hours" in the afternoon and early evening.
On Saturday at 3:32 p.m. the NWS Raleigh NC issued a severe thunderstorm watch in effect until 10 p.m. The watch is for Durham, Edgecombe, Franklin, Granville, Halifax, Nash, Orange, Person, Vance, Wake and Warren counties.
