After nearly two years of heated dispute over New Delhi's alleged involvement in the killing of a Canadian Sikh separatist, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney met in Ottawa.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting with his Canadian counterpart, Mark Carney, on Tuesday on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Kananaskis, Canada. This marked PM Modi's first visit to Canada in a decade and his first meeting with Carney after securing a third term in office.

Today, the Prime Minister, Mark Carney, met with the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, at the G7 Leaders’ Summit in Kananaskis, Alberta.
