The remaining G7 leaders are meeting in Canada after Trump cut short his visit due to events in the Middle East.

Israel and Iran have attacked each other for a fifth straight day on Tuesday with President Donald Trump urging Iranians to evacuate Tehran. Since the Israeli strikes on Friday, the two Middle Eastern rivals have exchanged blows, with Iranian officials reporting more than 220 deaths, mostly civilians, while Israel said 24 civilians had been killed.

India relations are defrosting, the two countries have agreed to reinstate their high commissioners and are eyeing renewed visa services to citizens and businesses in both countries.

Group of Seven nations gathered for a summit have agreed six joint statements on subjects such as critical minerals, artificial intelligence and wildfires, host nation Canada said on Tuesday.
