After falling in the Stanley Cup Final to the Panthers for the second straight year, Connor McDavid’s future looms over the entire NHL offseason.

Stanley Cup Final is over, with the Florida Panthers claiming the title once again. The only team to take this Panthers team to a seven-game series was the Toronto Maple Leafs, potentially hinting that Toronto isn't as far from title contention as previously thought.

McDavid felt the Oilers were going nowhere doing the same thing over and over again throughout the six-game Stanley Cup Final defeat. "I mean obviously their forecheck was great," McDavid said after the game.
