James Marsden is opening up about coming back to the big screen as Cyclops. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Marsden spoke about how he feels to reprise his role as comic book character Cyclops in the upcoming film, Avengers: Doomsday.

Men” roots in Marvel’s upcoming “Avengers: Doomsday,” which is set to feature the actor alongside several of his original cast members from 20th Century Fox’s “X-Men” film franchise. Marsden told Vanity Fair that filming “Doomsday” has been a “blast” and a “homecoming.

Marsden will be playing Scott Summers / Cyclops in the upcoming film. He first played the character in the 2000 film X-Men, which was directed by Bryan Singer. The actor reprised his role in its sequels, X2: X-Men United and X-Men: The Last Stand. He also did a cameo in 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past.
