Newcastle United got their Premier League campaign under way with a 0-0 draw on the road against Aston Villa. The home side were reduced to 10-men when Ezri Konsa brought down a goal-bound Anthony Gordon in the second period but Unai Emery's men - who were below-par all afternoon - held on for a point.

Newcastle's star striker is willing to do whatever it takes to leave for Liverpool, but if a move doesn't happen, he'll need a way back in favor.
