OverDrive makes two ebook and audiobook borrowing apps used by libraries, OverDrive and Libby. The company will shut down OverDrive on May 1st and is helping libraries fully transition to Libby.

Sonos users can now borrow and stream audiobooks from their local libraries thanks to the free Libby app.

In the Libby app on iPhone or Android, tap the icon in the upper right corner for the main menu. There, you can add your library card number if you have one, or discover how to get one in your area.

However, Libby will lack a few things found in OverDrive, including the “Recommend to Library (RTL)” feature, which is being discontinued across platforms with the app’s sunset.
