Oil prices were stable on Monday as investors awaited U.S.-China trade talks in London in the hope that a deal could boost the global economic outlook and subsequently fuel demand.

Crude oil prices rose 0.90% on Monday ahead of the scheduled trade talks between U.S. and Chinese government officials in London that intend to resolve ongoing disputes and get assurances for critical rare earth resources.

WTI crude oil (CLN25) today is up +0.50 (+0.77%), and July RBOB gasoline (RBN25) is up +0.0177 (+0.85%). Crude oil and gasoline prices are moving higher today, with crude reaching a 2-1/4 month high and gasoline reaching a 1-week high.
