Bankrupt Claire's hired Hilco to liquidate its stores, but could hold off from an entire liquidation if it finds a going-concern buyer.

The Uniontown Mall Claire’s is set to close as part of the company’s second Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing in seven years.

Claire's filed for bankruptcy in Delaware on Wednesday, marking the second time the teen accessories chain has entered Chapter 11 proceedings. In its bankruptcy filing, the jewelry retailer listed both its liabilities and assets between $1 billion to $10 billion.
