The Injustice video games featured a dark spin on the DC Universe, and the the man who spearheaded them has talked about a possible movie and his support for Zack Snyder's Justice League Snyder Cut!

When Warner Bros. Animation announced the release date for Batman: The Long Halloween, Part 2, among the special features was a promised first look at the next DC Animated Universe movie: Injustice.

Rick Morales (Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge), will produce the Injustice movie; Matt Peters (Justice League Dark) will direct, and Ernie Altbacker (Batman: Hush) will write the script.

Mortal Kombat and Injustice co-creator Ed Boon has seen Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and like many others, he has ideas about where a future superhero film from Snyder should go.

It will feature a script by Batman: Hush animated movie writer Ernie Altbacker and will be directed by Justice League Dark: Apokolips War's director, Matt Peters.

The Injustice video games also reunited Justice League cast members Kevin Conroy (Batman), George Newbern (Superman), Susan Eisenberg (Wonder Woman), and Phil LaMarr (John Stewart/Green Lantern).

Matt Peters (Justice League Dark) directed Injustice from a script by Ernie Altbacker. Injustice will be released digitally and on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on October 19.
