The DC Board of Elections is still counting mail-in ballots from Tuesday's special election in Ward 8 and will be until July 25.
Voters in Ward 8 are heading to the polls Tuesday to choose their next representative on the D.C. Council, following the expulsion of former Ward 8 Councilmember Trayon White.
The four candidates, all Democrats, were asked questions on issues such as the redevelopment of RFK Stadium, housing and policing in the ward.
