New York Knicks draft pick Mohamed Diawara is set to suit up for NBA Summer League, but his contract status beyond that remains to be determined, according to The Athletic’s James L. Edwards III.

The Knicks have selected forward Mohamed Diawara with the 51st overall pick of the 2025 NBA Draft on Thursday night.

“I just love defense,” Mohamed Diawara, who was drafted by the Knicks on Thursday, said in a recent interview with Off The Grid Fitness. “That’s not the job that everybody wanna do. But I feel like it can really, really bring you some money if you could do it good.
