Rogers asked Yang in the episode, "We both auditioned for Saturday Night Live, but only you were asked to join. If you could have me replace any current SNL cast, who would it be?” While Yang initially tried to deflect — underscoring that he loves all of his co-stars — he eventually answered the question: "I'm gonna give Che and Colin the chop so that you and I can do 'Update' together.
