With minicamp in the books, the Cleveland Browns quarterback competition is expected to heat up when training camp begins in late July, as four QBs battle it out for the starting job
The Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition is heating up during OTAs. Shedeur Sanders performed well but didn't take first-team reps, while Kenny Pickett saw time with the starters. The competition remains open, but each day's performance carries weight.
CLEVELAND, Ohio — If Shedeur Sanders continues to progress in training camp like he has over the past two weeks, he’ll narrow the gap on the other three Browns quarterbacks in the competition.
While the QBs will be the focal point at the team's mandatory minicamp, the open left tackle spot will be something to keep a close eye on.
The Cleveland Browns are in the midst of an interesting four-man competition for the starting quarterback job, but Deshaun Watson has not been forgotten about.
